Our Patch specialises in providing high-quality Outside School Hours Care Programs to primary aged children across Victoria and South Australia. Our educators care for children before school, after school and during school holidays creating a patch for every child to G.R.O.W. 

We also encourage everyone who is part of Our Patch to G.R.O.W.  We are Grounded, both as individuals and as a team, by being mindful and taking responsibility, as we build open, purposeful and lasting Relationships, take Ownership of our roles and have pride in all that we do – in order to create endless opportunities for magic, imagination and Wonder.

We are looking for visionary Educators to support our Stella Maris Service in Seacombe Gardens. 
 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Childcare Experience (Preferred) 
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain
  • Driver’s licence (front and back) OR Proof of Age Identity Card (SA)
  • National and State Child Protection Training
  • Screening and Verification Authority from the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide (or willing to obtain)

WHAT WILL YOUR HOURS LOOK LIKE:

To be successful in this role, you must be available for the below hours/Below shift times are indicative only and will vary across programs and subject to availability:

  • Before School Care – Monday – Friday from 7.00AM – 8.30AM (where needed)
  • After School Care – Monday – Friday from 3.00PM – 6.00PM 
  • Various shifts during school holiday programs

Our Patch are a Child Safe Organisation. We are committed to protecting children from harm. We require all applicants to undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment. The successful applicant is required to possess a current and valid ‘working with children’ check and is subject to a satisfactory criminal history record check.
